Hannah Montana is a popular Disney Channel series that began airing on March 24,2006. This show is primarily about the secret life of your average teenage girl who is Miley Stewart by day, and once night hits, becomes Hannah Montana, the popular pop star. She tries to hide her identity from the public, except from some of her close friends and family. She does this by creating certain disguises for the stage that keep others from figuring out Hannah Montana's identity.

Now, with that being said, it would be pretty obvious that Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) is not like your average teen girl. The TV series began with Miley moving, along with her family, from Tennessee to Malibu to adapt to a completely new lifestyle. She leads a totally normal type of life except for one difference. Miley is also the famous, teen pop singer Hannah Montana. Only her dad (also her manager), Robbie Ray Stewart, her crazy brother Jackson Stewart, and her two best friends Lily Truscott and Oliver Oken know about the secretive double lifestyle. Her friend Lily also has another lifestyle as Lola who helps Hannah Montana with her music.

This tv show is like your typical teenage girl sitcom and it involves Miley coming to grips with who she really is and discovering her identity. She goes through your typical teenage problems, like pimples, bullies, crushes, and a wicked cousin who will try to expose her secret at any cost.
